Therapeutic Modalities
Advanced Recovery Technology
The biological interventions we use at MASI — orthobiologics, cellular therapy, peptides, IV nutrition — work at the molecular level. The modalities on this page work at the cellular level. They are not passive recovery tools. They are active physiological interventions that modulate inflammation, stimulate repair, enhance tissue oxygenation, and recalibrate the nervous system’s relationship to pain.
At MASI, therapeutic modalities are never standalone treatments. They are integrated into every protocol — before and after biologic injections, during IV infusions, throughout post-surgical recovery, and as part of ongoing performance optimization programs. The goal is always the same: create the most favorable biological environment for healing to occur at every layer simultaneously.
The best outcomes don’t come from a single intervention. They come from layering the right tools in the right sequence.

How Modalities Fit Into Your Protocol
No single modality produces the outcome. The protocol does. At MASI, therapeutic modalities are selected and sequenced based on your specific clinical picture — what you’re recovering from, what procedures you’ve had, what your tissue needs at each phase of healing.
A post-surgical patient might receive laser in the acute phase, FSM for nerve pain and edema management, Celluma during IV infusions for localized wound support, and HBO once available for systemic oxygenation and accelerated tissue repair. An athlete managing chronic joint load might use laser pre- and post-injection, FSM for training load recovery, and Celluma at home between sessions. The combination is not arbitrary — it is designed.
“We don’t add modalities. We build protocols.”

The MASI Method
Dr. Masi’s four-pillar approach to healing and performance integrates soul, structure, biology, and mindset. Mana is the life force that encompasses and is at the root of all, inherent in each individual and honoring the deeper connection between spirit, purpose, and healing. The Anatomical pillar focuses on structural care through orthopedic expertise, surgery, and rehabilitation. The Systemic pillar addresses cellular and physiological healing with regenerative therapies such as stem cells, PRP, peptides, and anti-inflammatory protocols. Finally, the Interoception pillar centers on mindset and self-awareness—cultivating belief, agency, and resilience as essential drivers of recovery and long-term performance.
